Who We Are

Cheers Deals is a local food and drink deals website for Boone, Blowing Rock, and the High Country. Our website address is https://cheers.deals.

Information We Collect

We keep things simple. If you use a form on our site, we collect the information you choose to send us, such as your name, email address, message, and any other details included in the form.

We may also collect basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and the date and time of your visit, to help keep the site working and secure.

Email Signups

When you sign up, we store your email address, signup date, signup page, and selected town, if available. We use a hash of your IP address to limit spam. We use this list for Cheers Deals email updates. We do not send your email address to Google Analytics. We share your email address with Brevo to manage our weekly newsletter. Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe link. To leave the list or delete your information, email mandy@cheers.deals.

Deal Feedback

When you rate a deal, we store your thumbs up or down, any reason or note you add, and the date. Your browser keeps a random ID so you can change your answer later. We store a scrambled version of that ID and a scrambled, keyed version of your IP address to stop spam and spot repeat votes. We cannot turn these back into your IP address, and we never show feedback publicly.

Social Media

If you mention, message, or interact with Cheers Deals on Instagram, Facebook, or another social platform, we may see and use the public information you shared with us, such as your username, post, caption, image, comment, or link.

We use this information to respond, review submitted deals, share deal information that was intentionally sent to us, and improve Cheers Deals.

How We Use Information

We use the information we receive to:

• respond to messages and form submissions
• review submitted deals
• manage and improve the website
• prevent spam, abuse, or security issues
• operate social media connections for Cheers Deals

Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your personal information.

We may use trusted services to run the website, process forms, prevent spam, host data, provide analytics, or manage social media connections. These services only receive the information needed to provide their services.

Cookies

Our site may use basic cookies for normal website functions, analytics, forms, spam prevention, or logged-in admin/CMS users. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Embedded Content And Links

Our site may include links or embedded content from other websites, such as social media posts, maps, images, or videos. Those websites may collect data according to their own privacy policies.
